Production:
I would want Growing Pains to have a large scale production, and be financed by a studio. It will be filmed on nice cameras, but nothing too extra like 3D. I'm going for a happy vibe during the childhood memories and sad vibe during current time frame. So, the color design/editing would be very important. Music is a very key point in my film, a faster pace for the childhood memories and slower pace for when she is older. I chose the actresses I think would best fit my characters. My sister Hailey plays my character Cora. Then, Bailey plays younger Cora and Kylie plays younger Eleanor. Picking actress that I believe would best fit my character is a little dificult becaus ethere are so many good actresses. I believe I would pick to play Cora is Jennifer Lawrence. I think that she could bring a lot to the film and would portray the emotions of Cora increadbly. For younger Cora I would pick Mia Talerico and for younger Eleanor I would pick Mckenna Grace.
Distribution:
I would want Sony to distribute my film. I would want my film to be released in theaters and on whichever streaming site I have contracts with. I would want it so have a big release, very hyped up. Streaming sites are really used recently so it would make the film more known and shared in my opinion. It would obviously be digitally projected since it would be easier to deliver and display. The pictures for digital display are way better than photochemical film. I would want my film promoted the best way that would reach majority of people. So commercials and adds on apps like Facebook, Insta, TikTok, and Snap. That way it reaches younger audiences that I'm really looking for. I know, as the type of audience I'm trying to reach, that I'm always on my phone and I get a lot of adds for shows and movies that are coming out. Since those adds that pop up on my TikTok or Insta, I end up watching them.
Exhibition:
I would want my film to be released in theaters and on streaming sites. Since we are living in a global pandemic it's better for people to watch movies at home. Streaming sites also are just a very good idea because people like watching movie where ever and whenever they want. Streaming site allow people to watch movies after they are out of theaters so it's a good way of earning more money towards your movie. It would be amazing in theaters because of the energy that movies have in theaters and the peoples life reactions around you. Extra profits for the films would include clothing like shirts and shoes. Also décor, posters, and as a mug loving person there would be mugs with images from the movie or the title. The streaming sites would make profits from the film because they get a percentage from playing it on their site. The theaters will also get profit from playing my film. The success of my film would be based on how many streams it has and the profits it makes all together.
